Maps of the Ideaverse

Visualize your notes across a suite of insanely cool interactive maps—Emergence, Ideaverse, Starfield, and many more. There is even an improved Obsidian graph, which is WAY faster. The implications of this are up to your imagination. Oh, and also, it works in Bases, which will be extremely useful for anyone, especially researchers, who use targeted datasets. Data visualization has become reborn.

Every note in your vault gets a place on the map, based on what kind of note it is and how it’s linked. Unlinked notes sit at the bottom, and your maps of maps and home notes sit at the top. Press play and you can watch your vault grow, month by month. Then try it another dozen ways: as rings, as galaxies, as a graph, as a bookshelf, or as a wall of movie posters.

Made by Nick Milo of Linking Your Thinking, for anyone with an Obsidian vault (an “ideaverse”). It’s free and open source, and it never changes your notes.

Eighteen views of one real vault, Nick’s own, across the three themes (Play, Soft Paper and LYT Mode).
