Play Elden Ring as Venom Snake. MGSV runs hidden in the background and supplies Snake himself: his movement, stances, CQC, weapons, animation, life and his battle buddy (D-Walker first). Elden Ring runs its world, enemies, bosses, quests and saves, and draws everything.
Neither game is rewritten. An Elden Ring plugin and an MGSV plugin talk to each other through shared memory. It’s the same idea as SkyCraft, which does it for a Minecraft player in Skyrim.
Status: playable, early. Developed and tested on Linux (Proton) with both games running; see Known issues and docs/STATUS.md. The Windows build has never been run on Windows (docs/WINDOWS.md).
